WHY FILM?

With the advice of my photo lab technicians and other quality wedding photographers in the business, I still recommend film for your wedding for these reasons:

1. Negatives securely archive your wedding images for life. CDs and DVDs may not last forever and may become an outdated media storage format. However, in my wedding package, you can get film and CDs of your wedding.

2. A photo enlargement is less expensive from film and the quality is still better. Film produces sharper images and more accurate colors and skin tones. This is important when balancing a white or cream-colored wedding dress with skin tones and scenic backgrounds. Digital images require manipulation. Film gets is right from the start.

Trust your wedding to an experienced wedding photographer. Photo labs are reporting many disappointed brides who have hired inexperienced or amateur photographers who turn over CDs of unacceptable photos.

All my lab work and printing are done at Phototec in Rutland — a high-quality professional photographic lab that can also help you with your enlargements and albums. They are family-owned and reasonably priced.
